BlogWatcher changes again

Yet another enhancement to BlogWatcher. At least, I think it's an enhancement. ;)

In addition to the information you're used to on the view page, there's a new column running down the left hand side of the screen. Listed there will be all of your subscriptions which have any posts attached to them. The number in parenthesis shows how many posts. Clicking on one of the subscription links will filter the display, so that you'll only see the posts from that subscription.

At the top of the list you'll find two special "subscriptions." "All," and "Deleted". The "All" subscription is where you'd go to see the view you're used to, with the posts from all of your subscriptions merged together into one. The "Deleted" subscription shows all of the posts that you've marked as deleted, giving you the chance to un-delete them, if you wish.

When you delete a post, no matter what subscription you're viewing, it should automatically be removed from all appropriate places. (Yes, it is possible for a post to be in more than one subscription). By the same token, an un-delete should put it BACK into all appropriate categories. Note that undeleted entries will be placed at the top of their respective categories, rather than being filed in the "proper" place. Until you refresh the page, at which point they will come in the right order.

I don't have any plans for any further major changes that would be visible to users, unless somebody with more page layout and design skill than me (and that's not hard) wants to take a crack at coming up with a more attractive/usable presentation. If so, I'd love to hear from you.

Please leave a comment, send me an email, or use the "Contact Me" page to let me know if you run into any difficulties, or even if you like the changes. ;)
